About unit

Measurement standards law in Japan
The followings are units which are provided by Japanese measurement standards law.

Quantitiy of state of
physical phenomena
Measurement Unit
Force Newton
Moment of force Newton meter
Pressure Pascal, Newton per square meter, and Bar
Stress Pascal, Newton per square meter
Viscosity Pascal second, Newton second per square meter

Force conversion 1kgf=9.80665N

International system of units
The SI is founded on seven SI base units for seven base quantities assumed to be mutually independent, as given the followings. Other quantities,
called derived quantities, are defined in terms of the seven base quantities via a system of quantity equations. The SI derived units for these derived
quantities are obtained from these equations and the seven SI base units.

Base quantity Name Simbol Difinitions
Lengt meter m The meter is the length of the path travelled by light in vacuum during a time interval of 1/299792458 of a second.
Mass kilogram kg The kilogram is the unit of mass; it is equal to the mass of the international prototype of the kilogram.
Time second s The second is the duration of 9192631770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the cesium 133 atom.
Electric current ampere A The ampere is that constant current which, if maintained in two straight parallel conductors of infinite length, of negligible circular cross-section, and placed 1 meter apart in vacuum, would produce between these conductors a force equal to 2x10-7 newton per meter of length.
Thermodynamic temperature kelvin K The kelvin, unit of thermodynamic temperature, is the fraction 1/273.16 of the thermodynamic temperature of the triple point of water.
Amount of substance mole mol The mole is the amount of substance of a system which contains as many elementary entities as there are atomos in 0.012 kilogram of carbon 12; its symbol is"mol".
Luminous intensity candela cd The candela is the luminous intensity, in a given direction, of a source that emits monochromatic radiation of frequency 540 x 1012 hertz and that has a radiant intensity in that direction of 1/683 watt per steradian.

Caution in measurement

Measuring environment
We warrant the accuray and other specification based on the environment attached inspection data sheet.
If the measuring environment will differ from this inspection data sheet, the result data will change.
There are many factor of data error such as temperature, humidity, latitude, and so on.
When you proofread force gauge or torque gauge by yourself, please note that these environment and inclination of gauge.
To achieve accurate measurement, please use it in accordance with operation manual.

To achive accurate measurement
Settled speed and direction are principal factors for accurate measurement.
To achieve accurate measurement, please use test stand (motorized/manual).
The horizontal of test stand, vertical of gauge, and the inclination of attachments also influence the measurement accuracy.

Repair and calibration
We warrant force gauge and torque gauge to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use
We offer you calibration and proofreading to maintain accuracy and have reliable measurement test. We recommend
you to send it for calibration periodically.

About accuracy
The accuracy of the force gauge will be guaranteed in every point, if it is in specified capacity.
For example;
Capacity:1000N
Accuracy:+/-0.2%F.S.
We warrant every points are within +/-2N in this case.
When the measurement value is 100N, guranteed data is 200N+/-2N.

To prevent overloading
Stop overloading

If the force exceeding overload point is applied irrespective of ON or OFF of a power supply, the unit will break down.
To prevent overloading, force in the direction of the gauge measuring shft and under specified force.
Applying the force of wrong directin or using tools to mount an attachment will cause load cell damage.
For safety, please mount an attachment while checking a display value.
Please read through instruction manual before use.
