No. It is NOT broken. NG light indicates that measured value is lower or higher than set points. (-NG: lower than the low set point, +NG: higher than the high set point).

It is highly likely that its internal sensor is damaged. If so, the sensor needs to be replaced.

Separated Sensor type force gauge gets these signs when the indicator and sensor are disconnected. Make sure that the sensor is connected to the indicator.

Measurement instruments, such as ZTA series, eFA Plus2 series, HTGA series, DTXA series, supply electricity to the connected equipment, such as linear scale, test stand and USB memory. So the battery life will be shorter.

It may be some problems with battery or AC adapter. You can replace the battery or AC adapter by yourself for some products. Please see the user guide video on each product web page. You can also refer to the product instruction manual.

Please check if it can power on while it is being charged with AC adapter.
Please make sure that the battery is fully charged.

If you still can not solve the problem after the check, then it is likely that internal battery has gone bad or there is problem with AC adapter.

It is likely that a sensor is broken (overloaded). If so, it is necessary to replace the sensor.

Please make sure that the emergency button is off. (You can turn the button in a clockwise direction to switch it off.)
Please make sure that the test speed is not the lowest. (It is hard to see if it moves or not if the speed is low.)
Pleases make sure that two limit knobs are away enough since the force gauge moves up/down between the knobs. The black limit knobs are at the side of the stand.

Please make sure that a dedicated cable is used.
-Please make sure to check the connection.
[USB] Please make sure that the force gauge is recognized as a device.
[RS232C] Please make sure that the cable is connected to correct port.
- Please make sure to check the communications port.
[RS232C] Please make sure that the COMPORT connected with a force gauge is selected.

Please check whether cable/connector is damaged. If you have a spare cable, please use it to check.

It is normal when you turn on the force gauge immediately after turn off. Please turn off the force gauge leave it for a while. Then turn on again. (* It is not normal during testing)

The force gauge with I/O displacement function (eg: ZTA series) and test stand with linear scale are required.

Is the displacement type of force gauge [OFF]?

The folder has limits of 1000 data storage so please try to create a new one.
