We have been accredited to “ISO/IEC 17025:2005”, an International Standard for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, by an accreditation body, Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation INC (PJLA).
<Accreditation scope> Calibration of Mechanical Force Gauge and Digital Force Gauge using Reference Weight and Reference Load Cell
<Certificate number> 72623
<Accreditation date> July 20th, 2012
The accreditation demonstrates that we are competent to perform particular calibration activities according to ISO/IEC17025:2005 and produce internationally acceptable calibration data. Hence, we are entitled to use the logo showing the accreditation on our calibration certificate.
<Devices covered> digital force gauge/Mechanical force gauge
– Mechanical force gauge [Compression] : From 0.5N to 3000N
– Mechanical force gauge [Tension] : From 0.5N to 3000N
– Digital force gauge [Compression] : From 0.2N to 20kN
– Digital force gauge [Tension] : From 0.05N to 5000N
What is ISO/IEC17025:2005?
ISO/IEC 17025:2005 is a global standard for testing/calibration laboratories. It includes management requirements and technical requirements, ensuring that accredited laboratories are competent to carry out specific testing/calibration tasks.
There is a move internationally to accept foreign testing/calibration data in recent years.
PJLA is a MRA signatory of APLAC (Asia Pacific Laboratory Cooperation), and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) as well as a member of NACLA (National Cooperation for Laboratory Accreditation).
In other words, testing/calibration data produced by the laboratories accredited by PJLA can be accepted in signatory countries as well.
Therefore we have obtained accreditation to ISO/IEC17025:2005 to be competence of providing internationally acceptable calibration data.
Why is ISO/IEC17025:2005 important? What are the merits to you?
As quality control is considered important more and more of late years, higher reliability is required in calibration of measuring instruments used for quality control.
In order to meet such public demands, we perform calibration activities faithfully in accordance with ISO/IEC17025 to reduce uncertainty and provide highly reliable calibration services.
>> We believe that our calibration services will help you improving reliability of measuring instrument management.
