Cosmetic Foundation Hardness Test

This is a cosmetic foundation hardness test using IMADA’s force-displacement measurement unit. The maximum force value in the predetermined compression distance (displacement) can be measured, allowing quantitative evaluation of cosmetic foundation hardness. Graphs can be created using the software, and that of foundations with different formulations can be overlaid for visual comparison. It can be used to secure and manage the optimum hardness to prevent cracking due to dropping during transportation or when carrying, while maintaining the characteristics required to function as a cosmetic foundation.
