Maintenance
We recommend that you inspect measuring instruments and replace consumable parts periodically to avoid breakdown and use them for a long time. We introduce inspection method examples here.
Inspection of measuring instruments
Mechanical Force Gauges
- We recommend that a mechanical force gauge gets accuracy inspection by weights regularly.
- Apply load to check if the pointer needle holds firmly when turning on peak switch.
- Check if its measuring thread has scratches or distortion.
Digital Force Gauges
- We recommend that a digital force gauge gets accuracy inspection by weights regularly.
- Check if its measuring thread has scratches or distortion.
- We recommend that the battery should be replaced when its life becomes shorter.
Test Stands
- Check the emergence button and stroke limit knobs to see if they work fine.
- We recommend that an actuator of a test stand should be greased.
Shaft part: Please use lithium-based grease
Screw part: Please use molybdenum disulfide-based grease
*Please do not use lubrication or silicon spray since they may include cleaning ingredients and they are easy to volatilize.
Attachments
- Inspect if grips’ teeth and urethane are deteriorated or not.
- Check if there is crack on the attachment.
*Please do not use organic solvents such as thinner to clean.
