IMADA's peel tester measures adhesive force of adhesive tape. Adhesive force is determined by the average force required to peel tape, thus, you need to peel tape at constant speed. (If the peeling speed fluctuate, the average value was badly affected and the result was not accurate.) In the video, IMADA's peel tester peels adhesive tape at 180 degree. The tester peels tape at constant speed, and calculate the average automatically, in other words, you can perform peel test more accurately and more easily. Besides, it enables testing complying with the corresponding part of ISO and JIS standards.
Standards
- ISO 29862 (2007) [Self adhesive tapes-Determination of peel adhesion properties] (corresponding part only)
- JIS Z0237
