Spring rate

The Spring Rate Measurement Module is a dedicated plug-in for the Force Recorder Next Professional. The spring rate (N/mm), the force required to extend or compress a spring by 1 mm, is automatically calculated and displayed. The function supports spring rate measurements for three types of springs: compression springs, tension springs, and disc springs.

* To download this function, a redemption code provided on the Download Card Basic is required.
* This function cannot be added to the floating license versions of the Force Recorder Next series (Force Recorder Next Professional‑FLT).

Feature

  • Automatically calculates and displays the spring rate based on force values and displacement after graph creation. *Calculation and display of the spring rate are available only when force–displacement graphs are plotted using Force Recorder Next Professional.
  • Supports measurements for three types of springs: compression springs, tension springs, and disc springs. *When measuring disc springs, use in combination with the Deflection Correction Function is recommended.
  • Enables users to export calculated spring rates to reports and CSV files.
