Coefficient of Friction Test for Lubricant (Ball-on-Plate Test)

In this video, friction force between a steel ball and the plate applied lubricant to is measured (ball-on-plate test) by VWF-10N with Φ6 ball holder VWF-BAH6 (sold separatly). The included software allows you to not only graph the relationship between force and time, but also easily calculate the average kinetic/static coefficient of friction and overlay the data so that you can see the difference of kinetic coefficient of friction between the ball and plates with/without lubricant.

Test Method for Static and Kinetic Coefficients of Friction of Plastic Film and Sheeting (Complies with the corresponding part of ASTM D1894 :2014)

This is a friction test of film complying the corresponding part of ASTM D1894 (2014) using a customized coefficients of friction attachment for large sample. The included software enables you to graph the relationship between force and time and automatically calculates the static and kinetic coefficients of friction once the weight mass is input.
