Pull-off Test of Coating (Complies with the corresponding part of ISO 4624: 2002)

This is pull-off test for adhesion of coating.
This video introduces testing complying with ISO 4624: 2002 Paint and varnished - Pull-off test for adhesion. As per a requirement of the standard, tensile force is applied perpendicularly to the coated surface to be pulled off within 90 seconds at the speed of which does not exceed 1MPa/s. The force value required to pull off the coating is recorded as the test result. Pull the adhered dolly until the sample breaks and obtain the maximum force value. This maximum value is converted to MPa to calculate the breaking strength. IMADA graphing software graphs the relationship between force and time during the test to confirm whether the requirements are met. It also visualizes the load transition for fracture. In addition, with high-speed sampling of 2000 data per second, IMADA force gauge used in this test captures accurate maximum force value. Test 6 or more samples and show the average, maximum and minimum fracture strengths calculated as a result. Watch the video for test details. Wire connectors pullout test complying with UL 486A-486B: Edition 3

This is pullout test of a crimped connector of wire harness complying with the corresponding part of UL 486A-486B: Edition 3. In this test, our auto crimp tester keeps pulling crimped connector of wire harness for 60 sec with steady force at a constant pace to check if the connector breaks or not. If you change jigs to hold connectors, you can conduct this test for various shapes of wire connectors. This test is carried out by using "Keep mode" of our auto crimp tester which allows users to conduct durability tests easily. Also you can implement measurements complying with other standards. High-Voltage Wire Harness Crimp Terminal Tension Strength Test(Complies with the corresponding part of JIS C2805:2010)

This is pull test on crimped terminal of high-voltage wire harness complying with the corresponding part of JIS C2805:2010. The crimped terminal is continuously pulled at a certain force based on the sample size for 10 seconds. After the test, check if the connector part was NOT pulled apart. There are 2 ways to measure the tension strength of crimped terminals, durability test and break test. The break test complying with the coresponding part of IEC 60512-16-4: 2008 requires you to determine the maximum force value when the terminal is pulled off. On the other hand, the durability test complying with the coresponding part of JIS C2805: 2010 requires you to pull the crimped terminal continuously at a certain force for 10 seconds, and check the connector part situation after the test. They are used for R&D and quality control.

Operating Force Test of Motorcycle’s Brake Lever

Force to operate motorcycle’s brake lever is measured by a dedicated load cell and amplifier. You just mount the load cell on a brake lever, grip them together, then the operating force is indicated. The tested data can be stored in the internal memory of the force gauge. You can also check the stored data directly on the force gauge's display easily.
