Pull off test of elastic band from face mask

Tensile Strength

A pull off test of elastic band from face mask is performed using the force-displacement analysis unit. In addition to the maximum force value, which is the breaking strength, the force-displacement correlation can be examined in a graph, and the results of multiple samples can be compared for analysis. Since the joint to the mask is required to have sufficient strength to withstand repeated wearing and removing without damage, such measurements can be useful in R&D and quality control. Other solutions are also available to evaluate the elasticity and elongation of the rubber part of the mask.
