Cloth sewing strength test

Joint Strength

To test the sewing strength of the fabric, the sewn fabric is pulled and the tearing force is measured. In textiles, clothing, and fashion accessories, quality and safety are evaluated at the thread, fabric, and product stages. Force measurement is widely used for tensile strength tests of fabrics, seams, and button stitches. In the fabric sewing strength test, a manual test stand is used to pull the sewn fabric and measure the maximum force value at which tears occur at the seams or elsewhere. It also can be used for a wide range of purposes from R&D to quality control.
