Tenacity

Yarn Tenacity Testing Module is a plug-in for the Force Recorder next Series. This function automatically converts the measured force values from yarn strength tests into “yarn tenacity” and displays the results based on the fineness(tex) of the sample yarn. It also allows switching between graph axes: Y-axis (Tenacity ⇔ Force) and X-axis (Stretchability ⇔ Displacement). The feature partially complies with standards related to yarn and fiber evaluation, including JIS L1095. *Download Card Basic is required.

Feature

Automatically calculates and displays yarn tenacity for evaluating tensile strength in yarn tests. Also, calculates and displays stretchability and stretchability rate using displacement from the sample’s initial length.
Selectable units for yarn tenacity : [N/tex], [cN/tex], [N/dtex], [cN/dtex]. Selectable units for stretchability: [⊿(dimensionless)] and [⊿%].
Yarn tenacity serves as a parameter to compensate for differences in fiber thickness.
Export yarn tenacity information using dedicated report templates or in CSV format.
