Tensile Strength

Easy-to-open packaging for confectionery bags and retort pouches are tested to measure the opening force of packaging materials. In recent years, the universal design of packaging has been developed, and there is a demand for such design that is easy to open even for the people with weak grip strength such as children and the elderly. Easy-to-open packaging materials are required to protect the contents properly as well as maintaining the ease of opening. This method is ideal to quantify the opening force for quality control and R&D purpose.
