Peel Test of Solar Cell Ribbons

This video shows peel test of solar cell ribbons using a custom-made products. The attachment enables you to perform the peel test at an ideal angle since it can be fixed at any inclinations between 0 to 180 degrees. The test stand has a position adjustable loadcell holder so the loadcell can be placed properly on the ribbon. The test result is graphed by graphing software so that the transition of peeling force of ribbon is visually depicted.

Test Method for Seal Strength of Flexible Barrier Materials (Complied with the corresponding part of ASTM F88/F88M-15: 2015)

Medical devices and pharmaceuticals are used for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of human and animal diseases, which are closely related to human and animal health. Therefore, high level of safety is required and many of these elements are strictly controlled by standards and internal regulations. This video shows how to measure the seal strength of flexible barrier materials complying with the corresponding part of ASTM F88/F88M-15: 2015. Using the optional graphing software, the user can graph the relationship between load and displacement at the same time as the measurement, and can also easily evaluate the seal strength while meeting the requirements of the standard (range selection of the center 80% of the acquired graph, obtaining average values from statistics).

Pull-off Test of Coating (Complies with the corresponding part of ISO 4624: 2002)

This is pull-off test for adhesion of coating.
This video introduces testing complying with ISO 4624: 2002 Paint and varnished - Pull-off test for adhesion. As per a requirement of the standard, tensile force is applied perpendicularly to the coated surface to be pulled off within 90 seconds at the speed of which does not exceed 1MPa/s. The force value required to pull off the coating is recorded as the test result. Pull the adhered dolly until the sample breaks and obtain the maximum force value. This maximum value is converted to MPa to calculate the breaking strength. IMADA graphing software graphs the relationship between force and time during the test to confirm whether the requirements are met. It also visualizes the load transition for fracture. In addition, with high-speed sampling of 2000 data per second, IMADA force gauge used in this test captures accurate maximum force value. Test 6 or more samples and show the average, maximum and minimum fracture strengths calculated as a result. Watch the video for test details. The tests in this standard ISO 4624: 2002 are used in R&D and quality control.

180-Degree peel test (adhesion test) of adhesive sheet by using peeling tester

IMADA's peel tester measures adhesive force of adhesive tape. Adhesive force is determined by the average force required to peel tape, thus, you need to peel tape at constant speed. (If the peeling speed fluctuate, the average value was badly affected and the result was not accurate.) In the video, IMADA's peel tester peels adhesive tape at 180 degree. The tester peels tape at constant speed, and calculate the average automatically, in other words, you can perform peel test more accurately and more easily.
