Safety assessment of automatic sliding door(Assessment of dynamic and static forces)

Safety of automatic sliding doors always need to be secured. In this test, dynamic and static forces of automatic sliding doors are measured to ensure their safety. This test requires an optional extension shaft whose length fits the distance between the wall and door, indicated by the standard, to comply with the corresponding part of JIS A4722:2017. When the sliding door hits the loadcell, the peak impact force value is measured and the software to draw a Force-Time graph allows the tester to confirm whether dynamic and static forces are withing the limits. Another optional item, our extension shaft handle, is recommendable to increase the accuracy of the test. This measurement unit is suitable for daily inspection of automatic sliding doors.

Coefficient of Friction Measurement for Writing Materials

This video is about measurement friction force of a pen, one factor of writing comfort, by using our variable weight reciprocating friction test jig. You can also generate vertical force like writing pressure by placing weight you prepared on the plate. Earthquake-Proof Mat Tack Test

Earthquake-proof mat is used to adhere the furniture on a floor to avoid its falling down during the earthquake. The adhesive force is important to the quality of earthquake-proof. This video shows how to measure the adhesive strength of the earthquake-proof mat by tack test. Tack test is performed like this: Compress the mat at a certain speed until it reaches at a certain force then return, then the force gauge indicates a maximum force of the return, which is the earthquake-proof mat's adhesive strength.
