Coefficient of Friction Measurement for Papers (Complies with the corresponding part of JIS P8147: 2010)

To determine coefficient of friction (COF) of paper, pull the weight with sample to slide it against the sample on the table, then calculate the COF by the supplied software. It complies with the corresponding part of JIS P8147: 2010. IMADA offers the dedicated testing system such as the following configuration, which is widely used in quality control and R&D.

Standards

  • JIS P8147 (2010) [Paper and board-Determination of the static and kinetic coefficients of friction] (corresponding part only)

  • ZTS series is recomended for this test.
