Resilience test of a basketball

This video shows resilience test of a basketball by a customized dual-column test stand and a customized jig with 16mm-diameter. The compressing force becomes bigger if you continue to press the ball. Thus, you need to set up certain displacement value to reverse the motion of the force gauge and observe the relation between force and displacement. The graphing software allows you to graph that relationship and to confirm the transition visually.

Repulsion Force Test of Game Ball

This is compression test to determine repulsion force of game ball by using IMADA force-displacement analysis unit. The compressing force becomes bigger if you continue to press the ball. Thus, you need to compare the compressing force at a certain compressing distance (displacement).
