Dedicated Tester

This test is performed based on IEC 60512-16-4 (2008) [Connectors for electronic equipment-Tests and measurement-Part 16-4: Mechanical tests on contacts and terminations-Test 16d: Tensile strength (crimped connections)] (corresponding part only) to measure the force at which the terminal is crimped. By using the automatic crimp tester, the specified test speed can be easily set to pull the sample until it breaks. Such measurements are used in quality control, and research and development.
