ISO

ISO 17480: 2015 is a standard for easy opening of food packaging, which stipulates a test method for confirming the ease of opening of various packaging containers. This is a test of food packaging bags (confectionery bags, etc.) sealed by heat sealing. The main requirement of the standard is to show the correlation between the opening strength and the distance as a diagram and read the maximum force value in the process. Using the force-displacement analysis unit, it can be graphed and the maximum force value recorded. Such tests are used in R&D and quality control.
