Audio player’s knob operativity test

Operating Force

The operability of the audio player knob measures the turning force (torque, sliding resistance) to turn the knob. The knob part is held with a jig and measure the torque when rotating it using a handheld type torque gauge. In order to evaluate operability, it is used when inspecting the maximum torque value required for rotation and when confirming on the graph that it rotates smoothly without any abnormality. Since it is compact and easy to carry, it can be used not only for the condition of parts but also for inspection after assembly.
